Joined as Judicial Officer in the year 1994 holding different posts across Assam. Worked as District & Sessions Judge, Bongaigaon and Tinsukia. Also holds the post of Member, MACT, Tezpur.  Was holding the post of District & Sessions Judge, Silchar before elevation as Additional Judge of the Gauhati High Court on 13th October, 2021.
