Justice Gautam Chourdiya

Born on 4th July 1960 at Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh - Hon'ble Justice Gautam Chourdiya completed his B.Com graduation from Digvijay College (Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University) with 'University Merit' in LL.B (Vidhi Mahavidyala). He was enrolled as an Advocate in Madhya Pradesh State Bar Council on 31st August 1984 and practised in District Bar, Rajnandgaon till November 1987 before getting selected as Civil Judge.

He has served in subordinate judiciary under various designations at different places of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. He has served as Chief Judicial Magistrate, Principal Judge of Juvenille Justice Board and Additional District and Sessions Judge in Raipur. He served as District Judge in Janjgir, Bilaspur and Durg. He has also given services as Member Secratary in CG State Legal Services Authority, Director of CG State Judicial Academy, Registrar: Vigilance and Judicial - CG Highcourt before being appointed as Registrar General of CG Highcourt in June 2017.

On 18th June 2018, Hon'ble Justice Gautam Chourdiya was elevated as Judge of CG Highcourt.
