Justice Venkateswarlu Nimmagadda

Hails from Phanidam in Guntur District. Born in 1967 in an agricultural family to Sri Nimmagadda Ramakrishna Rao and Smt. Nimmagadda Anjamma. After his schooling at Phanidam and Intermediate at Sattenapalli, did his B.Com, at TJPS College affiliated to Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur, and B.L. and M.L. from Sri Krishna Devaraya University, Ananthapur and Visakhapatnam respectively.

He was enrolled as an Advocate on the rolls of the Bar Council of Andhra Pradesh on 30.06.1992. His stint as a lawyer in the High Court at Hyderabad and Amaravathi spanned over twenty six years. Practised in Writ jurisdiction, Appellate jurisdiction, Civil, Criminal, Service and other branches of Law. Also worked as Standing Counsel for Municipalities, A.P., from 2014 to 2019 and Standing Counsel for Medical Council of India for the years 2015 and 2016. He was Legal Adviser for many Nationalised banks, and Private entities.

Elevated as Judge of the High Court of Andhra Pradesh on 29.01.2022 and sworn in as such on 14.02.2022.
