Justice A.K. Jayasankaran Nambiar

An alumnus of Oxford University, U.K. from where he obtained his M.A. Degree in Law, he completed his matriculation from the Lawrence School, Lovedale, Tamil Nadu, and graduated in Chemistry from the Sacred Heart College, Thevara. He then joined the Government Law College, Ernakulam from where he obtained his LLB Degree securing a First rank in the Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam. He was awarded the N. Govinda Menon Memorial Gold Medal for the said achievement. He commenced practice as a lawyer in 1990, with M/s. Menon & Pai Advocates, a leading law firm in Cochin. Specialising in Constitutional Law and Taxation - Direct & Indirect, he was designated as a Senior Advocate of the Kerala High Court in July, 2011. On 23-01-2014 he was sworn in as Additional Judge of High Court of Kerala. He was appointed as Permanent Judge of High Court of Kerala on 10-03-2016.
