JUSTICE G. GIRISH
Born on 17.05.1967 to late Shri.K.R.Gopinathan Unnithan and Smt.T.Sathi Devi. Graduated from N.S.S College, Pandalam and obtained Law Degree from Government Law College, Thiruvananthapuram. Enrolled as an Advocate on 02.12.1990 and started practice at Adoor as Junior to Adv.Shri.N.Gopinathan Pillai. Entered into Kerala Judicial Service as Munsiff at Mavelikkara on 03.03.1997 and thereafter served as Munsiff-Magistrate, Peermade, Principal Munsiff, Nedumangad, Munsiff at Pala and Ranni, JFCM-1, Chengannur, Munsiff, Kayamkulam, Additional CJM (Economic Offences), Ernakulam and Principal Sub Judge, Kottayam. Got Promoted as District & Sessions Judge in 2014. Worked as Judge, Family Court at Kattappana, Addl.District & Sessions Judge at Neyyattinkara, Kottarakkara and Ernakulam. Posted as Principal District Judge, Thalassery in August, 2022. Transferred and posted as Principal District Judge, Thrissur in April 2023. Sworn-in as Additional Judge of the High Court of Kerala on 25th October, 2023.
