Justice Ajay Digpaul

Justice Ajay Digpaul was born into a family of lawyers. His father, Shri Jagdish Chandra Digpaul, was a well-known criminal lawyer.
He completed his schooling from Hansraj Model School, Punjabi Bagh, New Delhi. He then graduated from Hindu College and earned his LLB degree from Law Centre, both affiliated with Delhi University.
Ajay Digpaul's professional career began in 1993 when he enrolled with the Bar Council of Delhi. He quickly gained recognition, becoming a Standing Counsel for the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) and the Union of India.
In recognition of his exceptional skills and dedication in the field of law, Justice Ajay Digpaul was elevated as a Judge of the High Court of Delhi on January 8, 2025.
