Justice Sukhvinder Kaur

Born on 29th of December 1964 at Amritsar, to Smt. Gurdeep Kaur and Sh. Har Mohinder Singh; both parents served as Lecturers and subsequently father superannuated as District Education Officer.  Did graduation in Arts and thereafter, obtained LL.B degree in 1986 from Guru Nanak Dev University in first division.  Practiced at District Courts, Jalandhar for some time and then joined Punjab Civil Services (Judicial Branch) in February, 1991. Was promoted as Additional District and Sessions Judge in 2002 and served as such at several places in the State.  Was designated as District and Sessions Judge in July 2013 and served as such at various places and also presided over the State Transport Appellate Tribunal-cum-State Food Safety Appellate Tribunal Punjab, Chandigarh.  Elevated as Additional Judge of this High Court on 02 November, 2022.
