Justice Amarjot Bhatti

Born on September 22, 1965 to Smt. Mohinder Kaur and Shri Joginder Singh Kaila, Superintending Engineering, PWD (B&R), Punjab and subsequently, retired as Chief Engineer, Punjab Markfed, Chandigarh while on deputation. Graduated in Arts from Govt. College for Women, Patiala in 1984 and LLB from Punjabi University Patiala in 1987. Completed Masters in Law (LLM) from Punjabi University, Patiala securing First position in order of merit in year 1992. Joined Punjab Civil Services (Judicial) Branch on February 14, 1991. Promoted as Additional District and Sessions Judge in the year 2001 and worked as such at Amritsar, Gurdaspur, Jalandhar, Moga and Fatehgarh Sahib. Designated as District and Sessions Judge in November, 2012 and was Presiding Officer, Industrial Tribunal Bathinda. Thereafter, remained posted as District and Sessions Judge at Rupnagar, Sangrur and Hoshiarpur Districts. Elevated as Additional Judge of Punjab and Haryana High Court on November 02, 2022.
