Justice Jagmohan Bansal

Justice Jagmohan Bansal belongs to a Teachers family and was born on 7.11.1974. In 1995, did B.Com from Government National College, Sirsa and in 1998 secured degree of LL.B. from Panjab University, Chandigarh. Stood first in Accountancy in 10+2 in State of Haryana and was awarded scholarship. Is a member of ICSI, New Delhi. Got opportunity to work as Additional Advocate General, Punjab from 2012 to 2017. On behalf of various Govt. and non-govt. organizations, argued matters relating to taxation, Constitution, PMLA, FERA, Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act before Hon’ble Supreme Court, Punjab and Haryana High Court, Delhi High Court, Himachal Pradesh High Court and J & K High Court. Got opportunity to argue criminal matters arising from taxation Laws. Was designated by Punjab and Haryana High Court as Senior Advocate in May’ 2020. Is fond of reading books and participating in social activities. Worked as Trustee/office bearers of different Charitable Trusts and social organizations. In different Seminars of professionals, delivered many lectures on different taxation issues. Has written many Articles on different issues which are published in Tax Journals. Was Administered oath as Additional Judge of Punjab and Haryana High Court on 16.8.2022(F.N.).
