Justice Nidhi Gupta

Born on 28th July, 1966, Justice Ms. Nidhi Gupta belongs to a family of Lawyers, Judges and teachers of Law. She completed her school education in 1982 from Sacred Heart Convent School, Chandigarh; Bachelor of Arts with Honours in English in 1986 from Government College for Girls, Sector 11, Chandigarh; and LL.B. in 1989 from Panjab University, Chandigarh – whereafter she entered the Legal profession and has since practiced before Hon’ble Punjab and Haryana High Court, Hon’ble Delhi High Court, Hon’ble the Supreme Court of India etc. Since 2015, she has represented the State of Haryana as Additional Advocate General before Hon’ble the Supreme Court of India. She was elevated as Additional Judge, Punjab and Haryana High Court on 16th August, 2022. She is the daughter of Late Justice Jawahar Lal Gupta, retired Chief Justice, High Court of Kerala, and previously Judge, Punjab and Haryana High Court .
