Justice Gurvinder Singh Gill

Born on 12th of May, 1964 at Mansa (Punjab). Enrolled as an Advocate in 1987. Practiced, mainly criminal law, at Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh for about 14 years. Appointed as Additional District & Sessions Judge, Punjab in 2001 and worked as such at Fatehgarh Sahib; S.B.S. Nagar; Special Judge, CBI, Punjab at Patiala; and as Presiding Officer, Industrial Tribunal, Ludhiana.

Designated as District & Sessions Judge in 2011 and worked as such at Fatehgarh Sahib and at Rupnagar. Appointed as Registrar General, Punjab & Haryana High Court, in June 2013 and worked as such till 28th June 2017, when sworn in as Additional Judge of High Court of Punjab and Haryana at Chandigarh. Appointed as permanent Judge on 3.12.2018
