JUSTICE ABHAY J. MANTRI

Born on 16-01-1969. Completed LL.B. in first division from M.P. Law College, Aurangabad in 1991 and started practice as a Lawyer at Ambad Taluka Court and District and Sessions Court, Jalna.

Then joined at the Chamber of Late Shri Justice S.C. Bora in 1996. Started independent practice at the Bombay High Court, Bench at Aurangabad and various Tribunals from 2000 till 2008.

Joined as a District and Additional Sessions Judge at Nagpur on 19-06-2008. Further worked at Dindoshi, Mumbai and Niphad, District Nashik.

Posted as Principal District and Sessions Judge at Washim, Nagpur and Thane as well as Chief Judge of Small Causes Court, Mumbai. In addition, took charge as Registrar (Administration) at Bombay High Court, Bench at Aurangabad, Registrar (Vigilance) at Bombay High Court and Member Secretary, MSLSA, Mumbai.

Elevated as Additional Judge of the Bombay High Court on 21-10-2023.
