Justice G.K. Ilanthiraiyan
Born on 09.07.1970 to Dr.V.Ganamurthy and Smt.Manimekalai. Had school education in Government Higher Secondary School, Mettur and completed five years law degree at Dr.Ambedkar Government Law College, Puducherry. Was enrolled as an Advocate with the Bar Council of Tamilnadu on 09.03.1994 and started practice at the Madras High Court, under late Mr.T.Kandasamy, Advocate and Retired District Judge as Junior. Thereafter, set up joint practice with partners at the lawfirm "Sai, Bharath & Ilan". Was predominantly practicing at the Criminal and Writ Jurisdictions of the High Court of Madras. Was also trained Mediator serving with the Tamilnadu Mediation & Conciliation Centre. Was also reporting cases of the Supreme Court of India and the Madras High Court for the Mobile App- LIFT/LawInFingerTips. Appointed as Additional Judge, High Court of Madras on 04.06.2018.
