Born on August 30, 1970. Studied in Calcutta Boys' School. Passed LL.B. (5 Years Course) from Calcutta University in 1995. Enrolled as an Advocate on September 19, 1995; subsequently designated as Senior Advocate on June 2, 2014. Empanelled as a Special Counsel for the Central Government of India since March 3, 2015. Practised for 22 years mainly on the Appellate Side of the Calcutta High Court, specializing in Civil matters; also appeared in Consitutional matters. Acted as Court-appointed Arbitrator in several matters. Sworn in as an Additional Judge of the High Court at Calcutta on September 21, 2017. Appointed as Permanent Judge of the Calcutta High Court on 16.09.2019.
