Justice Sabyasachi Datta Purkayastha

Born on 12.02.1970. His Lordship joined Higher Judicial Service in the year 2011 as a direct recruit from the Bar. His Lordship worked in different Districts as Addl. District & Sessions Judge, District & Sessions Judge. His Lordship also worked as Registrar (Judicial), High Court of Tripura, Registrar(Vigilance), High Court of Tripura, Member Secretary, Tripura State Legal Services Authority and as a Director, Tripura Judicial Academy. His Lordship also worked as the first Registrar of the National Law University, Tripura. His Lordship was appointed in the Selection Grade of Tripura Judicial Service Grade-I in the year 2016 and His Lordship was subsequently appointed in the Super Time Scale of Tripura Judicial Service Grade-I in the year 2020.

His Lordship took oath as the Judge, High Court of Tripura on 26-10-2023.
