Justice S.G. Chattopadhyay
Born on 1st January, 1961. Graduated in Law from the University College of Law, Calcutta in January, 1988. Enrolled as an Advocate on 8th December, 1988 and started practising law. Joined Tripura Judicial Service on 18th July, 1991 as a Munsiff Magistrate. Worked as Judge, Family Court, Member Secretary, Tripura State Legal Services Authority, District and Sessions Judge, Registrar (Vigilance) and Registrar General of the High Court. Was nominated by the National Legal Services Authority to be a part of the delegation visiting Malawi in South Eastern Africa in November, 2012. Appointed as a Judge of the High Court of Tripura on 4th March, 2020 and took oath as Judge of the High Court on 6th March, 2020.
