Justice Prasanna B. Varale
Justice Shri.Prasanna B. Varale born on 23rd June, 1962 at Nipani Graduted in Arts and Law from Dr.Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University. Enrolled as an Advocate on 12th August, 1985. Joined Chamber of Advocate Shri.S.N.Loya and practiced on Civil & Criminal Side. Served as lecturer in Law at Ambedkar Law College, Aurangabad from 1990 to 1992.
Also worked as Assistant Government Pleader and Additional Public Prosecutor, High Court Bench at Aurangabad AND Additional Standing Counsel for Union Of India.
Elevated at Bombay High Court on 18/07/2008.
He assumed the charge as Chief Justice of High Court of Karnataka on 15th October 2022.
On 25th January 2024, he was sworn in as a Judge of the Supreme Court of India.
He is due to retire on 22th June 2027.
