Justice Atul Sharachchandra Chandurkar

Born on 7th April 1965 at Bhusawal, Maharashtra. Completed schooling at St. Vincent’s High School, Pune. Graduated in Commerce from Ness Wadia College, Pune and obtained degree in law from ILS Law College, Pune.

Joined the Bar on 21st July 1988 at the Chambers of Shri Bhimrao Naik, Senior Advocate at Mumbai. Shifted to Nagpur in January 1992.

Practiced mainly on the civil side and appeared in various Courts including the trial and appellate courts. Also represented local bodies and Corporations.

Elevated as Additional Judge of the Bombay High Court on 21st June 2013. Became a permanent Judge of the Bombay High Court on 2nd March 2016. Handled various assignments at the Principal Seat of the Bombay High Court as well as its Benches at Nagpur and Aurangabad as well as the High Court at Goa.

Elevated as a Judge of the Supreme Court of India on 30th May 2025.
