Justice Sarang Vijaykumar Kotwal

Born on 13th April 1968 at Ahmedabad. Completed his schooling in Dhule. Won middle school, High School and NCC Scholarships during his schooling. Stood first in district of Dhule in S.S.C. Examination. Completed Degree course in Bachelor of Engineering (Industrial Electronics) from Pune University. Thereafter completed his law course from Siddhartha Law College, Mumbai.

Enrolled as an Advocate with the Bar Council of Maharashtra & Goa on 25th August, 1992. Started practice in the District & Sessions Court at Dhule and from 1993 started his practice in the Bombay High Court. Conducted mostly criminal matters and his special area of interest was conducting criminal trials and appeals. Handled all types of criminal matters. He was appointed in various matters as an Amicus Curiae.He was also appointed on a sub-committee for finalizing common rules for the Original side and Appellant side of Bombay High Court.

Elevated as Additional Judge of Bombay High Court on 05th June 2017.
