My Father Late.V.Murugesan, served as Addl.Registrar of Co-operative Societies, Govt. of Tamil Nadu. Thereafter employed as State Marketing Manager, IFFCO and as Consultant to KRIBHCO.

My Mother Mrs.M.Seshabai is a home maker.

My Wife Mrs.Shoba Nirmal has completed Engineering from PSG College of Engg. & Technology, Coimbatore. She is a Home maker.

My Daughter Ms.Divya. N.Kumar is pursuing her House Surgency in Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) Course in Priyadarshini Dental College, Tiruvallur.

I have two elder brothers, one elder sister and one younger brother.

My eldest brother is Professor Dr.M.Rajkumar, M.S, DNB, MCH, is a Vascular Surgeon. He retired as Director, Vascular Dept., Rajiv Gandhi Govt. General Hospital, Chennai. My eldest sister in law, Dr.Namitha Bhuvaneswari, retired as Director, Govt. Eye Hospital, Chennai.

My second elder brother M.Ravikumar, B.Tech.(IIT Madras), MBA, Senior Manager, Indian Oil Corporation(Retired). My second sister-in-law is a home maker.

My sister Dr.M.Thilagavathy is a private Medical practitioner married to Er.Murali, employed as Assistant Executive Engineer, Electricity Department, Govt.of Puducherry.

My younger brother M.Balakumar, M.E.,MBA, is Assistant Professor in Sree Venkateswara Engineering College, Sriperumbudur.
